Below are the major differentiating features of my swim school versus other schools and freelance swim instructors.
- At age 15, I became a synchronized swimmer and competitive swimmer. These experiences shaped my view of perfect swimming and are the foundation of my teaching style that achieves quick results for my students.
- I get into the pool with my students and typically am within about 2 feet from my students; I stay with them throughout the lesson, watching them like a hawk.
- I’m immensely flexible; I will go out of my way to teach my students at ridiculous days and times (e.g. holidays, early mornings, weekends, and late in the evening).
- I teach year round.
- I’m highly educated; I have an MBA and other business degrees, which has made me highly analytical.
- My students quickly learn to swim accurately and with grace because I have eagle eyes and develop the proper swim habits in my students. Also, I’m a friendly taskmaster who pushes my students to swim precisely, gracefully, and with a touch of style.
- I’m willing to go the extra mile to accommodate my students and their parents.
- I regularly inform my students and their parents about my swim instruction plan for the student and allow the parent to give their input.
- I have accumulated a large selection of elaborate and fun pool toys that I use when I teach children to swim to help keep them interested and motivated during their lesson.
